praises

My Wife and I live in Los Angeles but wanted to have a Virginia wedding as that's where I grew up. Also, my wife's family was going to be coming from England so it was a halfway point for them.  We were extremely excited about all of the historic wedding locations Virginia had to offer but were also extremely nervous about planning a cross country wedding.  Luckily for us a friend of mine had recently gotten married and referred us to Leah, as she had helped with their wedding.

After reaching out to Leah and meeting with her, my Wife and I knew she was perfect.  Not only did she have a great personality and was easy to talk to she had a ton of questions about us and showed a sincere interest in our wedding.  Within a couple days of meeting her she was already on top of things.  From emailing vendors to getting information from us, she was always available to talk and help us out with anything and everything.... seriously, we emailed her a lot!

The thing that stands out the most was how much she cared.  If she didn't have an answer for us she would make sure she got one plus as much information as she could on the topic.  There were no dumb questions, anything we wanted to know about, she would answer.

Come our Wedding Day we were nervous (of course) and wanted everything to run smoothly and the best part about having Leah was we were actually able to enjoy our wedding and not worry about any of the small things.  I say this with all honesty, I didn't have to worry about one single thing on my wedding day as she had everything planned and ready to go. It was amazing to not have to worry about tipping vendors, thinking about center pieces or making sure the name cards were out.  My wife and I were able to focus on each other and our friends and family, and not have to think about any of the small things.

I would recommend Leah to not only local people but to people coming from other States.  She makes your life so much easier and less stressful!

Thanks Leah for everything you did!

When I got engaged I was a full-time graduate student and I worked 40 hours a week, I was so
excited for my wedding but felt so overwhelmed when I would try to start the planning process. The day
Leah offered to assist in the planning process I truly felt blessed! From that day forward Leah jumped
right in and gave her all to ensure my wedding was perfect. The best part about working with Leah is it
never felt like work—I loved the opportunity to meet with her and discuss plans/ideas, it was like
catching up with an old girlfriend. She is extremely personable and so easy to talk to, whenever I felt a
little panic coming on I would just have to call or text Leah and she would reassure me everything was
fabulous! From the very beginning she provided me with all of the necessary timelines and outlines to
keep me on track and make sure we didn’t leave out a single detail. Leah took the time to get to know
Heath and I, what we liked and what we didn’t like, which gave me the 100% confidence that I could
leave her to make decisions on our behalf. When it came to finding vendors, I never once looked online
or in a book….Leah provided us with recommendations based on what we were looking for. For
example, we wanted our wedding cake to be cheesecake but had no idea where to go. I hinted at this to
Leah and the next day I had three potential vendors and reasons for why we should consider them in my
Inbox. With help like this, making decisions was a breeze! I was engaged 15 months before my wedding
date, and with 12 months to go and the amazing help from Leah we had all of our major decisions made
and vendors locked in.

Another great aspect of Leah is her hands-on approach. To save money I wanted to make a few
reception decorations myself, Leah poured herself into these projects helping me every step along the
way. We met at her house multiple times to brainstorm and execute our ideas; she would always have
the best suggestions or ways to overcome design obstacles! I can honestly say as the wedding date got
closer I had less and less anxiety, Leah was a big contributor to this. On the actual wedding day I was
able to relax and enjoy the time getting ready with my family and girlfriends. Leah would pop in
occasionally just to make sure I had everything I needed—she had the event staff on top of drinks and
snacks for the bridal parties, she coordinated all vendors setting up and getting ready, she executed
setting up all the DIY decorations and she kept everyone on the timeline-- all without having to bother
me for input or last minute questions. Leah was efficient, organized, helpful, detail-oriented, kind and
has impeccable taste when it comes to weddings! I would highly recommend her to any bride-to-be that
may be feeling overwhelmed by the planning process or even to the bride that planned everything but
wants day of coordination help for peace of mind. Leah is the only person I would fully trust with making
all of my wedding detail decisions, and no matter what level of help she offers she absolutely puts her
heart and soul into making her clients dreams come true. Leah is the BEST in Northern Virginia when it
comes to providing wedding planning and day of coordination services!!

Working with Leah was a wonderful experience, and she was invaluable both throughout the planning process and during the wedding itself.  Leah is one of the best organized and most upbeat people I have ever seen, and quickly cataloged and recorded all the wedding information I gave her.  Leah was very positive and supportive about all my wedding decisions, and brainstormed several solutions to problems that I had. She also brought up variables and contingencies that I would not have thought of on my own, so that we were able to plan for them.

Leah did an excellent job running the rehearsal, despite challenges such as my large wedding party and a lot of distracting background noise and onlookers. She was upbeat, organized, and kept everyone to the task while being very positive.  During the wedding, Leah was able to address new problems (a heavy rain) as they occurred, so my family, the bridal party, the groom and I were just able to enjoy the evening as it unfolded.  Leah did an incredible job both helping me think through the wedding timeline and managing everything during the wedding itself! Her combination of experience, and an upbeat, outgoing, organized personality make her an ideal wedding coordinator.
